On Friday, Sept. 29, the Healthy Living as a Service project attended the European Night of Researchers. During this event, we introduced visitors to innovative wearables in two different ways.
The Fit Tech Box allowed participants to experience for themselves the impact of unhealthy lifestyle habits and discover how health watches, also known as wearables, can help change these habits. For many visitors, learning how these wearables provide insight into your health and help improve your lifestyle was a new and fun experience. We also had fascinating conversations with visitors who already had experience with wearables and shared their experiences with us. We are taking these valuable insights further into the Healthy Living as a Service project.
At Agustín Martinez's Art & Technology lab, visitors actually used the wearable technology in creative ways. By making physical movements, the wearable allowed participants to change the sounds and visual elements on a digital screen. For many visitors, an original and fun way to experience a form of new media art.
In short, a successful and wonderful experience for the HealthyLiving as a Service project at the European Night of Researchers 2023!
