🚀 Innovation in Different Subjects 🌍

Agustin Martinez Caram of Work Package 2 spoke at the EASST/4S 2024 conference in Amsterdam. He participated in a panel titled "Why/what not? Creative making, doing, and knowledge: models, frictions, cases." This panel brought together several scientists and creative makers to discuss how art plays a role in scientific and social research.

🎨 Bringing Art and Science Together

Agustin's presentation, "The artist-researcher in the north of the Netherlands," showcased key research from the Healthy Living as a Service project. He showed how new-media art can be used in science projects, with a focus on participatory artistic practices to improve digital health literacy. A quick tour of lifestyle interventions - BRAVO!

Since February 2023, WP5 PhD student Maxwell and his team analyzed health interventions targeting BRAVO areas (exercise, smoking, drinking, nutrition, stress). Physical activity, mental health and nutrition received particular attention, while interventions for alcohol/drug use and smoking were scarcer. Future programs could use wearable sensors for personalized approaches. They discovered seven unique lifestyle interventions, ranging from lifestyle coaching to sleep pattern regulation.
